Characteristics and field of use
Core wire alloyed, austenitic-ferritic special stick electrodes with rutile coating. Suitable for hard-toweld
materials of high-strength such as pressing and trimming tools, due to the high ferrite content
and high crack resistance. Joints between dissimilar steels, tough intermediate layers in case of
hardfacing. Suitable for wear-resistant surfacing0n couplings, toothed wheels, shafts and the
like due to the high mechanical strength and strain-hardening capacity. Can also be used for tool
repairs. B?HLER FOX CN 29/9-A has exceptional position welding properties, and is particularly
suitable for welding with AC power.
Base materials
Use for joint welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels of high-strength and limited weldability.
Use as buffer layer for surfacings0n cold and hot working tools. Also suitable for joints0n austenitic
Mn steel and Cr-Ni-Mn steel, as well as for dissimilar joints0n steels of different chemical composition
or strength.
